My understanding is you can donate almost any good quality items that can be reused. Birmingham city council describe what can be donated here: https://www.birmingham.gov.uk/info/50277/household_recycling_centres/2583/donate_your_unwanted_items

The bin's sign doesn't specify. The bin has 3 parts labelled "Paper & Cardboard", "General Waste" and "Glass & Plastic". I imagine mixed colours of glass would be accepted but the bin doesn't specify hence I didn't add that tag. Feel free to add the tag if you believe it suitable
