I would also like to follow RFI and usually I check my other changes against ePIR, unfortunately their classification in rete fondamentale / rete complementare is a bit arbitrary and tied to their internal history and processes. A current example: Bressanone - San Candido is branch for RFI, San Candido - Lienz is main for OeBB. It does not make sense, so I think we should ask ourselves, what do we want to really represent in the map, because plainly reflecting the internal classifications of the different owners will not end well.

I see the point about it definitely not being a continental corridor, but I don't agree that rendering should be ignored in a mapping effort ;-) moreover, I believe the definition is intentionally vague to allow for considering the context: "higher traffic and higher speed ... longer than a branch line ... electrified" the RFI "dorsale" fulfills that for Sardinia compared to narrow gauge lines. I believe Cagliari-Olbia as "main" and the others as "branches" describes well the network of the island.

Agree, that's why the RFI line in Sardinia is semi-officially called "backbone" :) I will restore the "main" tag on the Cagliari - Golfo Aranci line, leaving the ARST lines as branch lines.

Hi! Sorry for the late reply to this changeset... May I ask you what is the wiki definition? I had previously put the RFI tracks of Sardinia as "main", because otherwise in the maps Sardinia looks empty at too many zoom levels. Thanks!

Hello. The linked document is 328 pages of stations whose layout I am not familiar with, excluding the language issue. My strategy here - copied from what I see happening - is to do my best and leave the details to the locals, there is no way I can precisely handle every single track/platform. And I think it's better to have a wrong changeover point than a whole line wrongly classified. So what I'm doing now is removing ERTMS from stations (Aarhus, Skanderborg, Vejle) to avoid the issue; as long as the result matches the official Banedanmark map that I linked as source we won't be too far from reality.

I try to link an official and publicly available source everytime I can; in this case the source is an official map from bane.dk - of course it does not match because of my mistake :) I read the instructions on how to revert a changeset and I found it simpler to just make another one correcting my error; please let me know if this is not appropriate!

Yes, of course! I copied the tag from another line, I must have picked up the wrong example. I will fix this, and possibly the other as well.
