| 138274464 | over 2 years ago | No problem! Thank you for mapping kerbs! |
| 138274464 | over 2 years ago | Hello can you please explain what you were doing at 69th Street & 59th Road? I understand you were making edits to the kerb but what is "beauty=k" supposed to mean? See Node: 11034634966 |
| 138112891 | over 2 years ago | so just so i'm clear, it is necessary to have both a node with traffic signal crossing and a way with traffic signal crossing? I can start adding that level of detail if it is helpful
|
| 136638560 | over 2 years ago | so would it be better to have a traffic signal node on Avenue Z and not the intersecting node?
|
| 136475787 | over 2 years ago | you're right. i'll remove it
|
| 134708468 | over 2 years ago | You mean this one? It was a mistake! sorry about that way/1080103286#map=19/40.75657/-73.89550 |
| 134583510 | over 2 years ago | Brandon,

| 134664619 | over 2 years ago | I was using the utilsplugin2 tool to generate intersections of the crossings with existing roadways. Where a crossing node existed already, I digitized the new crossing way to intersect those existing nodes. I probably should have squared the intersections too so they look less irregular. The plugin (shift+I) https://josm.openstreetmap.de/wiki/Help/Plugin/UtilsPlugin2

| 132992566 | almost 3 years ago | my bad! I knew I was saying it wrong :P
|
| 132992566 | almost 3 years ago | you are correct. Usually they are accompanied by signs that read "don't block the box". However since this is considered a 'barn dance' intersection, pedestrians are given the option to cross either parallel to road, perpendicular or at a diagonal. OSM to my knowledge doesn't have a better alternative.

| 86377622 | almost 3 years ago | Hey I got a question regarding the stairs/escalator you tagged. Are these meant for the passengers to transfer from the walkway towards the airtrain to the train platform or from platform to street level? There is only a single staircase and single escalator. I’m not well versed with the later tags so please forgive me |
| 124691857 | over 3 years ago | Very exciting to see this go in the FoHi and Rego Park neighborhood! Thanks for adding |
| 124246833 | over 3 years ago | Actually on the 29th (last Friday) I took a video from east side of the interchange approaching Kew Gardens. Only saw pedestrian signs and no bike signs. So from East to West, no bike signs are up |
| 124246833 | over 3 years ago | I was there and didn't see a sign offering clear guidance on that. I rode my bike through there and, for the most part, the path is wide enough to accomodate pedestrian and bicycle use. Will try to check again if I get a chance |
| 120720052 | over 3 years ago | Care to share where you are getting your sources? This is certainly not a building. Please add objects that can be confirmed by imagery or a survey. |
| 101857092 | over 3 years ago | *please disregard the 'was' |
| 101857092 | over 3 years ago | Hi yes I know about that way from surveying. I was traveled by bicycle last year and saw this crossing was installed probably in response to a bicyclist getting killed crossing . I have to revisit because there was a resurfacing planned. https://www.bxtimes.com/column-progress-inches-along-on-the-pelham-bay-park-front/ |
| 115022116 | over 3 years ago | I will stop by and check for you, no problem! |
| 119444409 | over 3 years ago | Hey I realized that was going to seem odd. This is a street that was closed off for several weeks. Its a regular 'residential' street but didn't see a construction tag that made perfect sense
|
| 116032488 | almost 4 years ago | Hi David I see you made some changes by the New Hyde Park station. After reading your Changeset it appears you removed the bridge tags but added something to the rail line. Please note that there is no at grade crossing as the road now goes underneath the main line. This change started in 2019 and I believe was finished sometime in 2020. While bridge may not be most accurate the road does go under in Esri imagery |
