Deleting entries based on destruction - especially in conflict zones - removes important historical data that is relied upon for documentation. Instead, using lifecycle prefixes (such as demolished:building=yes or building=ruins) preserves information whilst respecting OSM's reflection of environments on the ground. Please consider this rather than outright deleting. As conflict is ongoing, OSM is an important tool to track what has been destroyed over the past year etc. Deleting information rather than re-tagging is erasing this data.
