Hi. Yes, there is a trig point there (ironic, given your username), and yes, it is in an arable field (has cows and a bull in the field currently (or at least, it did last week when I was in the wood adjacent to the east)
I know of at least some other trig points in arable fields (one near Cambridge at Wandlebury is in a field) so I'm not sure what's so unusual about that.
I can supply a photo taken from approximately 30 metres away if you want evidence of a survey - (I didn't get closer due to the aforementioned bull!)
Sorry about the poorly named changeset - I was distracted away from editing and had to close the changes in a hurry and was trying to indicate that I'd actually been there to confirm the NPE data (not all trig points survive, sadly)
