Bonjour Ptigrouick,

Je vois que vous avez ajouté l'attribut generator:solar:tracking="no or". Était-ce une faute de frappe ? Ne devrait-il pas simplement être "no" ?

Hi JBmapswestchester, and welcome to OpenStreetMap!

I've changed this roadway back to two-way because there are no indications that it is one-way. I apologize if this causes trouble with navigation apps, though it appears that the entrance is properly signed to encourage delivery drivers to use the other entrance.

By the way, we've been having trouble delivering to this neighborhood due to the misplaced address nodes. If you live here or regularly visit, would you be willing to help us out by moving the address nodes to the correct locations?

Hi there! This was my mistake. I was looking primarily for signage attached to the underpass, and I must have forgotten to look for yellow diamond signs posted in advance. Corrected here: changeset/128647091

To answer your question, we mostly use Bing Streetside imagery when looking for low clearances. Much of it is low-resolution or a few years out-of-date, and our mapping team works remotely from outside of New Jersey, so we certainly appreciate local insights wherever we can get them.

Good catch. I tried a sampling of these addresses in the USPS ZIP Code lookup tool and they all seem to belong to 07068/Roseland. The Census Bureau puts this area in the ZIP Code tabulation area for 07039/Livingston, causing some of our data sources to incorrectly report that as the actual ZIP Code.

I think your interpretation may be right, actually. Thanks for the additional context—I'll leave it as is.

Hi ScantLeopard336,

I noticed you removed the maxheight tag from this offramp: way/27280239

I found imagery on Mapillary from 2020 indicating that there's a 14'3" clearance under Steuben Street: https://www.mapillary.com/app/?lat=40.756256&lng=-74.200539&z=17&pKey=475373916913194&focus=photo

Was the removal of this tag intentional? Has there been construction in this area since 2020 that heightened the clearance?

Hi ambarapu,

The residential road you've added in this changeset does not exist on the ground. Yesterday, one of our drivers was directed down this road and found that it wasn't there. I've gone ahead and reverted it here: changeset/124822116

Hi aslamsmo,

If no units are specified in maxweight, software will assume that the value is in metric tonnes. In the United States, we use customary short tons instead, so the value of maxweight must be followed by a space and then "st".

Hi,

It looks like you've completely ignored the comments I gave the last time you made this change. What is the reason for this edit war?
