Correction: the route of Roman Road "Watling Street" is from Chester to Northwich (not Whitchurch as per my previous comment).
To clarify, this is different from other routes also called "Watling Street" in the UK, e.g. the better known route from Dover to Wroxeter following the route of the modern A2 & A5: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watling_Street#Other_Watling_Streets
More information on the Cheshire Watling Street is here: http://www.romanroads.org/gazetteer/cheshire/M7a.htm

Hi, what source are you using to change these road names? For Boughton (way/202355797/history & way/680370395/history) and Tarvin Road (way/1818987/history & way/21007141/history & way/483305651/history), this changeset contradicts information from both road signs and addresses in the area based on local knowledge. I think "Watling Street" can be tagged as the name of the route of the Roman road which follows Foregate Street, Boughton, Tarvin Road, Vicars Cross and continues on to Whitchurch. It is not an appropriate "name=" for any of the constituent parts as it is not the primary name as displayed on street signs or used in modern addresses. name=*
Based on both road signs and addresses, I agree with the change of name from Tarvin Road to Vicars Cross Road east of the bridge over the canal (way/187024826/history).

Hi, I didn't use aerial imagery for this edit. The peak is based on the location of the trig point from a survey, using my own GPS trace and the relative location of the highest ground compared to the other mapped features (i.e. between Russell's Cairn and where the other footpaths meet, where a continuation of the line between the cairn and the trig point is the direction of one of the paths to the wall).
The location of the summit may not still be exactly correct, but I think it is more accurate than where it was before, both in absolute terms (lat/lon) and in relation to the other existing mapped features, namely:
-being north (not south west) of the point where the footpaths meet and
-being located on the Scotland/England border, rather than on the Scottish side.
There was a discrepancy between the OSMUK Cadastral Parcels and the plotted border in the region around the footpaths, but happy to revert if you think Boundary-Line is more accurate than the OSMUK Cadastral Parcels (which I understood to be 'perfectly aligned'). I haven't seen how the Boundary-Line data compares to my edit. Which part do you think is wrong and in what way? Do you agree with the location of the footpaths? Where do you think the peak is?
