I used to do a fair bit of CanVec imports some time ago, but haven't for awhile - and this wasn't from CanVec, at least not intentionally or directly. Was a mention of CanVec still there in my default comments, without my having removed it? If so, thanks for pointing this out - I'll have to be more careful next time.

As for the campsites, I was adding what I thought were unmarked ones in rough locations as referenced from a separate paper map. Somehow I must have missed that the campground you mentioned already existed.

I wanted to add the Whitehorse Pass trails for a hike that I'd be doing (they didn't exist prior) and manually entered campsite and trail information with reference to a paper map... though it's very possible this paper map itself was generated with CanVec data.

In any case, thanks for your comments, and kudos to those walking the trails and mapping them accurately. There may be some debate as to whether having a trail mapped with potentially somewhat outdated data is better than having the trail not mapped at all - in the future I'll be sure to more clearly indicate the source of data so a better judgment can be made as to its trustworthiness.
