over 6 years ago | Hi, also a number of buildings in the East 24th Avenue & Gilpin Street area have been duplicated setting building upon building. Thanks
over 6 years ago | Hello, just a reminder, a large number of buildings here have been duplicated and are sitting one atop another. Thanks :)
over 6 years ago | Hello, a number of houses in this changeset along East 26th Avenue are tagged as being on East 26th Avenue "Parkway" The street signs indicate it is simply East 26th Avenue. Thank you. https://www.mapillary.com/app/?pKey=Xw4L5AMcsxSlob4Yr1rJWQ&focus=photo&lat=39.75454933945066&lng=-104.9405282457405&z=17&x=0.5086396011514533&y=0.4765140096881013&zoom=0
over 6 years ago | Hello, offhand I think I see three issues with this changeset. 1) A large number of buildings are tagged as residential when they should have a more specific tag. 2) The minimum requirements for address fields are street name and street number. Many buildings here contain city, street, and zip, but not the minimums. 3) A number of buildings on Race Street and High Street are labeled as being on "North" Race Street and "North" High Street. Thanks :)
over 6 years ago | One other item concerning this changeset; the large "residential building" at East 25th and Franklin should actually be mapped as eight separate housing units each with a unique address. Thanks :)
over 6 years ago | Hello, a large number of buildings in this area have been tagged as residential buildings when they should actually be given a more specific definition such as, "house". Thank you :)
over 6 years ago | Hello, thank you again for your additions to the map. Just a reminder, the minimum requirements for address fields are street name and street number. Quite a few buildings in this changeset have been tagged with city, state and zip code, but they lack street name and street number.
over 6 years ago | Hello, in the area of East 24th Avenue and Williams Street you have a number of overlapping buildings. Thanks.
over 6 years ago | Hello, at the corner of Franklin Street and East Bruce Randolph Avenue you have some overlapping buildings. Thanks :)
over 6 years ago | Hello, with this import you have a number of overlapping buildings in the area of East Bruce Randolph Avenue and Gilpin Street. Thanks
over 6 years ago | Hello and welcome to OSM. Your test house looks good, but please remember to "square" rectangular shapes. You can do this by selecting the house and then pressing the "q" button. It should square up nicely. Cheers :)
over 6 years ago | Okay, thanks. I've added a construction site where Aspen Hall used to stand just so other mappers won't be tempted to recreate something that doesn't exist. I also added a note to the construction area. If this is incorrect, feel free to change it. Cheers
over 6 years ago | Hello, welcome to OSM and thank you for your additions to the map. It looks like here you deleted the Aspen Hall building. Does this building no longer exist? Also, it looks like you created the Anna & John J. Sie International Relations Complex building on top of another building (Josef Korbel School of International Studies) that was already mapped. We don't actually create buildings on top of other buildings in OSM. Do you need assistance with something here? Thanks
over 6 years ago | Thank you
over 6 years ago | Hello. Why are you adding the tag, oneway=no here? The wiki states, "oneway=no is used to confirm that (a part of) a street is NOT a oneway street. (Use only in order to avoid mapping errors in areas where e.g. oneway streets are common, or to override defaults.)" Thanks :)
over 6 years ago | Hello, thank you for your additions to the map. Are you certain about this address? You've added 100 Steele, but the building is located at 250 Steele Street. Also, just so you know, "Steele" would be incorrect. This would be "Steele Street". Thanks :)
over 6 years ago | Hello, I see here you created separate ways where no separate ways exist. Is there a reason for creating separate ways here? Thanks. Wiki: A divided highway (also separated highway) is any highway where traffic flows are physically separated by a barrier (e.g., grass, concrete, steel), which prevents movements between said flows.
over 6 years ago | Hello, the building tag has been removed from the Denver Bus Center in this changeset. I recommend you replace it as building=transportation. Thank you.
over 6 years ago | Hi, the reason this caught my eye is because both buildings had building tags, but your edits deleted them. The tag, amenity=bus_station was already there. I would recommend adding building=transportation. These are buildings and they are also bus stations. Cheers
over 6 years ago | Hello, thank you for your changes to the map. Just so you know, the bus station at 19th and Curtis and the Civic Center Station on Broadway are actually buildings. I assume what you're trying to do here is to resolve errors flagged by a validator. It seems OSM is not quite ready to address the issue of roads and foot paths located on top of buildings and so validators will tag them as mistakes. The validator-flagged errors will most likely have to be ignored until ways located on buildings are recognized as such. I'm just guessing that's what you were trying to do here. These buildings should still be tagged as buildings. Thanks.
