Hi, thanks for your response. I haven't been able to get back to you 'cause I've been traveling non-stop. I see your point of view on this but, of course, the wiki says either method is correct; without any clear preference either way. If the first example on the wiki is employed, "It is up to the routing software to count nearby signals as one". Have you considered taking steps toward changing the wiki or perhaps creating a discussion about this on OSM-talk to sort out which method should be preferred? My concern would be that by making changes like this without having a clearly defined preferred mapping method, it could be a potential for edit-wars. Thanks

Hey! Thanks for the message. In all the years I've edited on OSM, I've only really used ID. I'm experimenting with JOSM and, of course, it works a little differently than ID; so I'm making some mistakes. I do run either OSM Inspector or Osmose every day, so I'll catch up all these errors.
