The first of your examples is disingenuous as I have not changed the classification of this road, for what it's worth.

I was under the impression that C roads were to be designated tertiary roads - I now see that I was incorrect in that assessment. I will revisit roads C1 - C22 in the Borders and make changes in accordance with the link you have provided.

Hey! Yeah, I was wondering about this one, but pedestrian streets seem to be much more applicable to commercial areas than residential areas. I wasn't aware that the bollards can be removed. This road is never used by vehicles as far as I'm aware as properties along Portal Terrace can be accessed from Portal Crescent anyway. If the bollards were removed and this street was used by certain services, I'd consider it more of a service road/emergency access than anything.
