We hiked in from Chadsey Lake along the north slopes of Sumas Mountain while geocaching. We reached a point on the east side of the mountain where the trail turns to go south towards Quadling Road. There is no longer a public access from that location as the trail was obliterated by a quarry. It might be possible to access the trail via a steep scramble across **private property** but there is no longer a trail.
