OK, I guess my understanding of what "highway" means is different from the usage on OSM? Is a gravel path really called a "highway"? That seems potentially confusing. I suppose I disagree that I shouldn't be able to route a run on a running track, but if that's how it's done then so be it.

I was also asking about the missing paths I've added in Sweet Briar Marshes and Wensum Park—I can't route on those on plotaroute, so not sure if I'm missing a trick?

Surely a running track should be routable on the "on foot" setting on sites like that?

There are other kinds of routing, though—for walking, or cycling. I can see that the paths I've added are somehow not routable, so perhaps I've done it wrong. How do I make those paths (and maybe the running track) routable on something like this website: https://www.plotaroute.com/routeplanner

Thanks for the clarification. I added it because it doesn't show up as a routable path on any of the route planning apps or websites I use that get their data from OSM. Is there another way of making it routable? It is a path, after all, even if it's also an "area multipolygon relation".

Thanks! I thought I had already mapped that? I used a GPS track from a run, so it's pretty precise.
