My name is Bharti, and I’m a mapper in the OSM team at Lyft. I appreciate your insights! Regarding my edits — I added lane details in this changeset. To accurately apply lane tags, I divided one segment into three shorter ones: way/1444229727/history#map=19/33.791492/-117.906279&layers=N; way/1444229728/history#map=19/33.791793/-117.906287&layers=N; way/643961896/history#map=19/33.792216/-117.906295&layers=N. Initially, there was one relation relation/8460870 on the longer segment, and after the split, it remained on all three shorter segments. The bus relation has remained where it was. I noticed that in this changeset changeset/173699746#map=10/33.6678/-117.8490&layers=N, you removed two ways: way/1444229728; way/1444229727 from the relation and added new relation/19748259. Unfortunately, bus relations are not our area of expertise and are not within the scope of the Lanes project https://github.com/Test-DCT/OSM-LYFT-DCT/issues/26. We do not validate the accuracy of the applied bus relations. Instead, we focus on maintaining integrity and avoiding disruptions during significant geometric changes.
