OK, this was a strange crash-out.

1. You did do that. The history is there. You took an existing way, added a brand new node in the middle of the way and left two nodes in the green. I don't understand why you would deny this. This isn't the first time you've done this and isn't the first time I've asked you to stop. The number of nodes that defines a `hole` is one less than the par of a hole. The original hole was drawn correctly and then you added a spurious node.

2. It's ambiguous what you mean by EVERYONE should be using your tool. It sounds like that is required, but that clearly can't be the case as people are free to use whatever tool they see fit.

3. Whether or not you are actively working on the course is irrelevant. There is no need to added a problem node to a golf hole (that was correct before). It doesn't matter if that is the first attempt at a hole or a last. It just doesn't belong there.

4. You don't get to dictate what type of mapping I do. If I want to focus on cleaning up a particular type of error I see in the map, that is my choice. I have agency over my golfing contributions.

All that aside, let's get back to the original request of not adding extra nodes to golf holes. Is it you doing this, not understanding that it is wrong, or is it a bug in whatever tool you are using. The majority of the time I see this error, it is being created by you. Can you help me understand why you think that is correct? Maybe we can get to the bottom of this and I can convince you that it is wrong.
