In Norway the national reference follows the European numbering (I don't know, if it is strictly true in the whole country).

Why E 06 and not E 6, I don't know but currently all int_ref (and e-road relation) follow this format.
Standardization would like E 06 but the road signs show E 6.

you have delete some relation road (E75, A1,) boundary (balkan, Macedoine, etc..) and the Aegean Sea...
