I will explain the situation to you: we use OSM for a free trip planner app and it's very inaccurate now when used for the public transportation: bus stops are completely disconnected from the paths with walking permission.
I added the sidewalks along the highways that lead to the bus stops and connected them to the secondary roads - is that a mistake? I also added street crossings for people to be able to walk across the highway.

I would really appreciate it if you could explain to me more how to do the fixes the right way, especially because I want to continue fixing such issues.
