Jā, tā gan jau ir pareizāk. Tu jau esi eksperts :) Un tur tagad ir viesu māja uztaisīta, nezinu, vai parkings tai ir tieši tajā vietā vai nedaudz citā. Ja turpat, tad tas vairs nav tikai "ski parking". Varu uzjautāt īpašniekam.

I am sometimes doing like this - I see some object in real life, then open Google satellite view (only to get more precise location) and then roughly draw the object in OSM trying to match the shape and location. Is it not allowed too?

It is in the Google satellite and ESRI low level zoom, also exists in nature, I saw it with my own eyes :) But the location is approximate, could be off by a couple of meters.

Mjā, es nezināju, kā šo vislabāk risināt. Iemesls izmaiņām bija tas, ka OSM un OSMAnd zīmē mežus pa virsu dzīvojamām teritorijām, bet man gribētos otrādi, jo citādi izskatās, ka ir māja meža vidū, lai gan reāli tur ir liela privāta teritorija apkārt mājai. Cik sapratu, zīmēšanas secību ar kaut ko līdzīgu layer=-1 ietekmēt nevar. Ja viss ir pareizi un neko nevajadzēja mainīt, tad droši vien šo izmaiņu vajadzēs pilnībā revertēt, vai ne?

Šo man būs grūtāk paskaidrot :) Lieta tāda, ka https://rigasrogainings.lv/ saviem rogainingiem lieto OSM un kartē ceļu braucamību ar velo attēlo ar garākām un īsākām raustītām līnijām, par pamatu ņemot smoothness vērtību. Šobrīd es palīdzu sagatavot karti Ādažu posmam, kas notiks septembrī. Smoothness vērtības tiek liktas ar domu, cik labi ceļš ir braucams ar velo. Impassable šajā kontekstā nozīmē, ka nav braucams ar velo. Protams, tas gluži neatbilst sākotnējai smoothness idejai. Asfaltētie ceļi kartē tiek zīmēti īpaši, neatkarīgi no smoothness, tāpēc asfaltētiem ceļiem neko nelieku. Šīs konkrētās trepes ir tik īsas, ka tās kartē praktiski nebūs redzamas, līdz ar to tas nav svarīgi un var to vērtību dzēst ārā. Bet kopumā, ja Tu vērtē šādu smoothness kā "velo braucamības" lietošanu par nevēlamu un vari iedomāties kādu labāku variantu - varu iedot organizatoru galvenā karšu zīmētāja kontaktus auglīgai diskusijai :)

Nu čau, čau! :) Revertēju uz was:highway, tur tiešām dabā neredzēju ceļu, bet Google Satelītā bija smuks, tāpēc padomāju, ka ir.

To daļu, ko nomainīju uz path - tur ir sabērtas milzīgas smilšu kaudzes, ar velo var knapi apbraukt pa maliņu - acīmredzot, tas ir noticis pavisam nesen. Laikam jau, kad pabeigs būvēt, tur nebūs ceļa vispār vairs :)

Hi :) I added some of the very new buildings which I saw while walking there, they don't appear on the aerial map yet. By approximate I meant that I marked the approximate point on the map as I was walking by them and then drew rectangles, so it's plus minus 20 meters :) and the shape is of course approximate too.

The path where I added the fence fragment used to be the primary and only path. But recently a fence was built around the nearby private territory (house) and an alternative, slightly longer path was created. The old path is not accessible to regular people anymore. I saw there was a fence but I didn't come close or along it, so I don't have a precise line, but I wanted to show map users that there is a fence and it's impossible to go through.

Hello! Thank you for the improvements. However, you removed piste:type=nordic tag which all the ski maps like openskimap.org, opensnowmap.org, and OsmAnd's Ski plug-in use to identify skiing trails. Please don't remove this tag in the future and if possible add it back here and to any other edits that you may have done. It doesn't hurt to have both highway=path and piste:type=nordic tags at the same time.
