oh i see, thanks for the links i'll have to read through those. i'll avoid making bike lanes separate in the future, and take a look at your tagging so i'm doing it correctly next time.

that section is a bike lane, i'm not sure if bike lanes should be added as separate ways or are included in the lane tagging of the road, i've seen different approaches in different cities

it's a separated cycleway, it runs along the creek, below the grade of the road and sidewalk.

sorry for the big changebox, it gave an error asking to upgrade tags on the railroad and i guess it changed the whole relation
