Meadow is the correct designation here, as per the wiki: landuse=meadow
It is reasonable to default to farmland when unsure but this is clearly grazing, as you can observe the animals etc in imagery

There is clearly some sort of track on recent Maxar imagery. I don't recall why I tagged it as service road, perhaps the dark colour suggested asphalt but it may be a simple track

I have removed them from the relation.

I don't recall one and I have a GPS trace from running it but with the tree cover it maybe isn't accurate enough. The original line was on the wrong side of the stream. I will run it again in a couple of days and try to get a more accurate measurement

I didn't intentionally remove them. I don't know why josm would remove them simply through adding an inner way with 'update multipolygon'. That multipolygon though is a monstrosity which includes areas that are definitively not Bristol

Apologies, I have reverted the changeset in that area. Assumed they were part of the old yahoo traced stuff there that gets the validator angry if you touch it.
