I've seen that happen quite often, where there will be logs and barricades on paths, but they can be easily circumnavigated and it's not actually illegal to do so.

I'd still rather go for having the trails in the map, with obstacles potentially marked (barrier=log or such), and maybe just add a note in the map to re-check these after a certain date.

Do we really need to fully delete "illegal" trails (whatever that means - are they signed as no entry, or fenced around)?

Because if they exist in reality - even if illegal to enter - they should be kept and only marked with appropriate access=* tags.

Actually I'm not even sure if it's forbidden to go there, since the exact same sign is also by the very officially looking, explicit crossing just down the street to the west.

There is also a small wooden "step" that seems like it's supposed to help you cross the rail.
