Well, it was a great alternate route until Sequoia started locking the gates. The routers do seem to get confused about private service roads and frequently route down them. I've emailed both the city and the county (depending on street) about at the very least putting some sharrows on Michael Drive and Gerald Drive to fix the actual infrastructure, which would be a real fix. (well, actual lanes would be better, but...)

Yes, all the routers are pushing through private gates and routes here (the service road along the arroyo -- which is inaccessible and gated) also gets a lot of suggestions. I have no idea why the routers are doing that, but they are.
