*Correction: not the entire alley, but the section of it between 5th Ave & 9th St.
|
Good catch - that does seem to be the case. Did you intend to set just that section as private and unnamed before you ended up just deleting it? I think you may have accidentally applied those tag changes to the whole (remaining) alley.

I've done this before but was advised that it's better to keep the history when possible! osm.wiki/Keep_the_history

Nice additions! Did you delete the pedestrian crossing nodes on the intersection, though?

Mistakenly deleted an area of woods at the northern end of Shelley Island that could have been reused rather than remade. When the island was also a wood, I originally subtracted the farmland from the wood, which left the separately mapped wood redundant, but later I realized the farmland would no longer be part of the island, so I had to redraw the woods anyway. By that point it was too far back in my undo history :(

I opened the relation in JOSM and it said the multipolygon wasn't closed and pointed to this small area deleted by someone else: changeset/82134614 which might be the issue; however, I don't know how to fix it. If either of you know, that would be awesome. (I left a comment there too)

Hi! I noticed recently that the section of the Susquehanna River between Sunbury and the Conowingo dam (relation/53084) doesn't render as blue anymore on the map. I'm not very good with relations, so I'm not completely sure what happened or how to fix it. I opened the relation in JOSM (which I'm not very experienced with) and it complained that the multipolygon wasn't closed and pointed at this area of the map. Do you know how to fix this?

Hi again! This isn't a park. Please don't remove or falsify existing information. Many other projects use data from OSM besides Pokemon Go! There are still a lot of missing real world features that could be mapped instead, which would be helpful for everyone :)

Hi! Please don't add things to OSM that don't exist in real life. If you are trying to improve spawns in Pokemon Go, you can still do so by filling in the map with real world features.

I made this exact wrong turn before! It's very confusing!

FYI, the imagery you used is outdated. The eastern portion of Bali Hai has been moved and repaved, a roundabout has been added, and two schools have been built nearby (construction finished this year). The curvy alignment was from a GPS trace I took by driving the new road (it is no longer straight). You accidentally brought back the old alignment :( http://www.cvschools.org/common/pages/UserFile.aspx?fileId=4434617

Hello! Your changeset comment says you added a missing park, but it appears you actually deleted the designation for a military area. As far as I'm aware, it's still a military area. Please share if you know of any information regarding changes to its military status; otherwise, I'll assume it was a mistake and restore the missing tags. Cheers.
