| 109722889 | about 3 years ago | Hi Violaine_Do, ArchesPark is no longer with the team, but I see that you have realigned the features here. One suggestion that would be helpful to others is to cite the imagery and the offset you are using as it can be confusing to others when they look at imagery that doesn’t match the data. Thank you for the feedback here, happy mapping! |
| 109727582 | about 3 years ago | Hi Violaine_Do, PastraMT is no longer with the team, but I see that you have realigned the features here. Thank you for the feedback, happy mapping! |
| 110984180 | about 3 years ago | Hi, Violaine_Do, DunAonghasa is no longer with the team, but I reviewed the data and found that it was fixed in 2021 based on your inputs. Can you please check the previous changeset discussion (changeset/109852697#map=14/-17.4887/-149.7628) and let me know if there is anything that was missed previously? Thanks and happy mapping. |
| 109739583 | about 3 years ago | Hi, Violaine_Do. Santurce is no longer with the team, but I see that you have realigned the piers here. Thank you for the feedback, I also saw your comment about the 50cm accuracy government data in changeset/119149134. The team has been notified of this and will keep it in mind going forward. |
| 86443246 | over 3 years ago | Hi Myazyk, LakeBled is no longer on the team, but I can help explain what happened here. A multipolygon relation(relation/11188706) was created for the wood feature to avoid incorrect rendering between the wood & water, during this process the name tags were shifted from the outer member to the relation tag. Let me know if you have any further concerns, Happy Mapping! |
| 116642527 | almost 4 years ago | Hi NM$L, thanks for reaching out! In this changeset I saw that there was a multipolygon relation which was self-intersecting and realigned the area of concern using Maxar Premium Imagery — relation/13045616 this beach relation was broken from recent edits. If you’d like to realign the coastline, please be sure to take care of any relations that may be in the area. Happy mapping! |
| 110628444 | about 4 years ago | Hi 快乐的老鼠宝宝, thank you for reaching out and bringing this to my attention. I added the park boundary from an open government source (it’s listed here osm.wiki/Contributors#Kazakhstan and you can browse the data here https://map.unbiodiversitylab.org/location/UNBL/kazakhstan?basemap=grayscale&coordinates=49.3190731,84.8148085,7&layers=terrestrial-protected-areas_100) but I hadn’t checked in detail where there may be overlaps along the border. Feel free to adjust the park border as needed, and I can make adjustments to follow the country boundary in the location you noted as well. Thanks again! |
| 75522327 | over 4 years ago | Hello Karakalpakstan, hope you’re doing well. I noticed the parenthesis in the name of this lake and wondered what the meaning of this naming convention is. From the history it looks like there is an old name and new name and some combination of both were put into the name attribution. Could you help me understand this better? Is it possible to separate the parenthesis into a different tag? |
| 97257759 | almost 5 years ago | Hi pppetros, I noticed that the Aegean Sea (relation/4594226) was recently changed by you from place=sea to place=islet. This appears to be incorrect (place=sea, place=islet). Would it be possible to change the tag back? Let me know if you would like me to make the fix, thanks! Automatic Translation:
Hi Alex Nemo, thanks for adding natural features along the Ash river! I noticed some errors in the data from inner members sharing the same border as outer members. If you take a look at this wiki page (osm.wiki/Relation:multipolygon#Valid_Multipolygon_conditions) it will show you some valid examples of multipolygon relation modeling. I’m happy to help fix these issues if you need any help. Thanks and happy mapping! |
| 87588500 | over 5 years ago | Hey Nicholashmilne, thanks for getting back to me! Sure, I’d be interested in the .shp, what is the source for it? |
| 87588500 | over 5 years ago | Hi Nicholashmilne, thanks for the updates around Umbabat Nature Reserve. Unfortunately your changeset broke several multipolygon relations including www.openstreetmap.org/relation/2470588, www.openstreetmap.org/relation/2910748, www.openstreetmap.org/relation/1752987.
Can you restore these? osm.wiki/Relation:multipolygon I am also happy to help fix this issue if you need it. |
| 68661733 | almost 6 years ago | Hey Hendrikklaas, thanks for mapping the Isle of Pines relation. I noticed that there were a few errors in this relation where you’ve added some beach features as inner members where they are actually sharing a boundary with the outer member at these locations (ex. www.openstreetmap.org/way/680310924, www.openstreetmap.org/way/680312603). Unfortunately this is causing errors in this relation (JOSM validation says "Multipolygon outer way shares segment(s) with other ring" See the last point under "Valid Multipolygon Conditions" osm.wiki/Relation:multipolygon#Valid_Multipolygon_conditions. I do not think that it’s required for these beaches to be inner members since the island feature won’t render over these beaches, removing these features as inner members could resolve this, but I wanted to reach out to you about this before making any changes. |
| 62330184 | over 6 years ago | Hello, saye__Krun is no longer on the team so I’ll pick up this communication on the changeset. Thank you for reaching out, I took a look at this issue and say_Krun was not responsible for adding building:level=1 tags to the building nodes. This was done in changeset/69554925 which you’ve already commented on. Happy mapping! |
| 56726964 | almost 8 years ago | Hi literan, I was using Digital Globe Premium with GPX traces and Strava cycling to better center the trunk here. I missed correcting the other side of the road, sorry about that. I’ll go ahead and revert this edit, thanks for the feedback! |
