This is the current parking location and trail-head for the Shawl Gap Trail (yellow blaze). The as-marked parking location in Open Street Map and trail-head (just north of here) is not accurate, does not have any blazes, and the trail itself has numerous no-trespassing signs.

Warrenton Greenway multi-use path is blocked just before the bridge over the Eastern Bypass due to construction of the trail extension. Construction is due to be completed by November 2021.
