Have you edited JOSM preferences?

To fix:
The duplicated nodes should be selected then merged into one node.

The JOSM Validator should identify these for you before you try to save the date. You can run the JOSM validator at any time to check your work before adding more stuff.

Make a simple way that is the building foot print, plce the tags on that and delete the relation. If you want you could tag the individual ways as building:part... or simply delete them too.

I have taken the mall buildings and the Pukeroa Oruawhata House building relations and deleted them.
I have replace them with simple ways with appropriate ways.
The OSM guide is one feature = one OSM entry .. as the Mall has one entry that covers the entire block under a landuse key I have removed the mall name on the building.

I think that should do?

Manchester Square includes the surrounding buildings .. they carry that as part of their address. Same in England.

You do not know how to do multipolygone relations! Still.

Relation 19680051 has 6 member ways ..
All with the role outer!

This is CONFUSING!
Ways 1435557829 and 1435557830 ... Is the area inside these ways meant to be tagged as ;
grass .. in which case thee are already inside the other ways so already tagged grass - thus redundant information
not grass - in this case they should have the role 'inner'

Next issue !
Ways 1435557826, 1435557826, 1435557827, 1435557827, 1435557825, 1435557825, 1435557828 and 1435557828 can be combined into one way .. why make serval ways when one will do?

Some hints?
The relation/20407838 - parking was not 'closed' not forming an area but a simple line. I have combined the two ways that were in the relation into one way and closed it I have then placed the parking tags on that single way and deleted the relation.
I have reduced the parking area so as not to conflict with the pedestrian way.

The tag 'construction' on the parking area ... I don't see that in the imagery. So I have left that off ... Was that an error or is something happening there???

Keep mapping.
