Yes, the deletions were intentional and based on field verification.
The removed highways were former forest or logging tracks that no longer exist —
many of them have been overbuilt, overgrown, or completely removed and are no longer accessible or usable.

I checked all affected areas on-site and in accordance with the Hessian Forest Act (§15 HWaldG),
which limits access and mapping of non-existing or restricted forest paths.
In these cases, the ways were deleted to reflect the current on-ground situation accurately
and to avoid misleading navigation through forest cultures or restricted areas.
