I gathered info from combining what's provided on a map on amts.ct.it, a different one on ctgo.it, and a brochure and compared it with what was already on OSM marked as Amigo and on Google Street Map. I admit that even on the official sources there were various discrepancies.
I realize I should have not deleted some of them :)

hi, according to first party sources, the ones that I have deleted are mostly planned to be activated in the future, so I supposed that there was nothing at the moment, I agree that if there are actual docking stations at the moment those should be mapped, preferably with the new CTGO name tag, and as disused.
I'm not able to revert a deleted node, so could you do it or should I just add new nodes (which I know is not ideal)

This old line is expected to never be used again, it is marked as "disused" and not "abandoned" simply because the rail is still present.

after searching for (somewhat) similar cases in osm, I found relation/10385844
it is too a disused railway now used as foot/bike path, on a larger scale than the one in Catania,
given that that one is simply shown as a railway, with no path, I think this segment could actually be removed

Hi Giovanni, the way that is I just traced is a path used by hundreds of people everyday. It runs alongside the railway (but realistically, also on the railway itself, since there are no more trains passing from there)
