I should have made my commit message more clear. This is by no means a mass import of data, but a small trial run I was looking at. I converted the San Jose open data streetlamps locally to see how the data looks; this small import is primarily aimed at judging what would be involved in making use of that data set.

The raw coordinates of the streetlights are often quite misaligned from their actual location and each street lamp required manual re-alignment using aerial imagery. It is also not uncommon for the lights to be obscured by foliage. Finally, there seems to be quite a number of lights which are missing (though the larger fixtures dataset likely has them if the fixture is colocated on a non-city owned pole).

In any case, manually aligning the lamps to their location is tedious and I would estimate it would take in the 10s of hours to re-align the entire data set.

I'll likely revert these changes as a result.
