Actually, my mistake. I just noticed that I removed the tag from the wrong portion of the street. I'll fix it.

Excellent question. There are no marked lanes on this portion of Churchill (north of Workman). Some argue that an unmarked road wide enough for two cars should be lanes=2 and because of this virtually every street in Canada has this tag from the original CanVec imports. Even if you accept this argument, which I don't, it doesn't apply here. Parking on this street makes it difficult for two cars to pass each other at normal speed. So to answer your question, I removed this tag since the street isn't divided into lanes, marked or otherwise.
