Hi Reeniz, mainly I use the "Improve Way Accuracy" tool to improve the alignment, FastDraw is little tricky to use, but it is very handy to use for creating new geometry.

You can control and set the preference of FastDraw plugin using Q when you are in fast draw mode. Also when you are digitizing you can control the number of nodes for a feature based on your zoom level on the viewport.

Hi Reeniz, thank you! I work with satellite imagery and look for sharp angles or coarse generalization in the coastline and add details where the water and land meet. I try to create a smooth alignment where I can.
