who at LCC confirmed about the A58 being changed back from non-primary to primary route? I think the primary Leeds-Wetherby route is via A1(M) /M1. (M621/M62 for Halifax)
I don't know about A661 but no signs have changed in Harehills (black on white not green), I think the ELOR ones are incorrect.
There is also an 18t weight limit at Roundhay which would have to be removed to allow HGV access through the 'posh villages'
the OS map shows this as red (not green) part from a short section in Leeds City centre and Sabre Wiki says non-primary status

as part of Leeds city council works to bus gate city square and east parade new signs have been installed in this area. this junction, replacing the white 'Wortley' and 'Huddersfield A62' with "Huddersfield (A643)" in green and signs for Leeds railway station or Beeston/Morley pointing to this road.

I thought this bit of road would then be "A highway which is not part of a major route, but nevertheless forming a link in the national route network." as it links the A58 to A643

yes it should be 'description' if needed at all

yeah, it will probably all be student sky scarpers in the area. I was watching planning permission live stream a while back. Leeds city council owns part of the grass block in front of the arena and they said something about doing a land swap and having an outdoor event space (or something) in the area and tall, thin buildings to 'revile the arena' as you walk towards it from different angles.

(the rumours will become true but ATM it's a vacant office, which is about to be knocked down and should be on the map as such?)

I walked past this today. This building is still there with a large Yorkshire Bank logo opp Pizza Express. YB has closed not sure if this is used as virgin money HQ or vacant office?

hi,
I think I did use the prow_ref tag. Would name=* not be useful as unlike ref= / name= prow_ref does not display on the main map and the name is useful for directions. Barwick is only semi-rural but emergency services have access to PROW database so its useful to know the location of them when they is no other name, and for the avoidance of doubt to know its a formal path and not an informal one (with an angry farmer)

most of the roads are now part-time bus lanes (or bus gates). (before some had traffic restrictions when cars are banned, but this was the police to enforce, real bus lanes have council ANPR cams).

The Headrow from Albion Street to Upper Basinghall Street are bus lane 7-10 and 16-19. (rest of westbound open to all traffic)
Headrow from Oxford Place to Albion Street are bus only 5-22

Is the old railway viaduct still permissive for foot? Although owned by the harbour look likes public open space as part of regeration, which will have a new extinction onto the network rail bit soon. can you access it by bike?

I don't think the 4G is a bus route anymore, but it might come back in the future? or part route so it might be easier to deactivated this relation so its not a bus route then edit to restore it instead of deleting it and haveing to draw it back on

On the ID editor, it comes up with a warning when you connect a path to just the platform saying disconnected way. adding highway tag stops this.

yes the way has been closed for a long time but remained on the PROW map, so legally they had to maintain some access/ temporary close it. It has now been rerouted onto Skelton Moor Way.

The path at top of the road with Halton Moor will need a survey as it was still under construction last time I passed but the fence had 'fallen down' and it was used by people as an informal path and the paths in Halton Moor Woods
