I was using Maxar Imagery. Right now, that imagery shows some links, not paved, are being used by cars. I can add those in if you prefer and fix the bridge tags?

Thank you for that explanation Roshan. Based on what you have explained and your local knowledge, I am onboard with changing some of these roads back. I would like to work with you on this if you are willing to. We can continue the coordination of this effort via message.

Hi Ro Sun,

A trunk functions as a connection between cities, and F42 is functioning as a connection between Pokhara to multiple small villages. While it does lead into Pokhara, it’s coming from multiple small villages. F42 is an important road, but it’s not as important as the Prithvi Highway which connects multiple cities.

The Nepal Roads page also says that H roads are the ones that function as trunk roads:
osm.wiki/Nepal/Roads#District_Roads_.28DR.29

F42 functions as a Feeder Road, and it’s highest classification on this page says that it only goes up to primary:
osm.wiki/Nepal/Feeder_Roads

The highway classification guide says the purpose of a secondary road is to link towns:
highway=*

I believe that secondary is the most appropriate classification for this based on the function this stretch of road serves.

Do you have any resources suggesting that Pokhara-Baglung Highway is a National Highway as opposed to a Feeder Highway?

Thanks!

Hello,
I felt that the road going into the airport was a major road, but not as major as the road that it was flowing from which was connecting various neighborhoods, so I gave it one classification lower. I’m fine with changing it back to secondary though because it is a big airport.

Restored the previous geometry and classifications on these circular junctions.

After analyzing the area further, I feel that it does not match the specifications on the OSM page for junction=circular since this is not a rotary and it’s not circular. Due to the size and the shape, the user would not be able to tell the difference from their perspective. If you disagree you can add it back.

Both Strava heat map and natural traffic flow support traffic outside of the circle having right of way. Due to this, I feel like there is more evidence supporting that this isn’t a roundabout.

Hi there,
You can add junction=circular if you’d like. Do you disagree with my classification?

Hello, I will remove it as imagery is unclear.

Thanks for letting me know about the situation. I restored your previous classification.

Okay, I will leave this area as-is until someone can verify.

Understood. I was checking over name consistencies and I thought that you had skipped over those segments by accident.

You bring up a great point. Could Grand Bahama Highway be the alternate name perhaps, and Queen’s Cove be the official name?

Hi there! I saw you updated this road’s name to Queen’s Cove Road, so I filled in the gaps since the previous name was still appearing on both ends. Does it look right to you?
