I've changed this to shop=variety_store in changeset/149815992

Not to worry. It's understandable that someone would make a new note since the cafe name doesn't show up on the map at any zoom.

The edit looks good. I'd be inclined to make it a motorway_link all the way from where the road splits from the M1 to where it joins to the M50, though.

Thanks for that. It looks correct now. Great!

Hi William,
You requested a review of this changeset, so here it is.

The only issue I can see in what you have changed is that the name 'The Terrace, Glounthaune' should simply be 'The Terrace'

As it is now, an address on that road would be, for example,
1 The Terrace, Glounthaune
Glounthaune,
Co. Cork
This doesn't seem correct.

Ideally, the yard should be mapped as an area rather than a point, so that you can see the extent of it easier. Also, it should be named "Big Yard" rather than "Big yard". You should also add an access tag (as school yards are generally not accessible to the general public for the purposes of recreation)

The only issues are that 'bubbles creche' should be named 'Bubbles Creche' (note the capitalisation) It should also be tagged as amenity=childcare to signify that it is a creche.

You can delete items in iD by right clicking on them and clicking on the trashcan in the menu that pops up. If you just want to remove the tags, you can select the item and delete all the tags in the pane on the left.

You also need to ensure that you're adding the names to lines rather than points, which is why they are rendering twice.

It all looks pretty good except for two things. You've added the name 'Blackhall bridge picnic area' and the name to a point rather than the line, which is why there are two 'P's and picnic table icons rendering. The iD editor sometimes makes it difficult to see if you've selected a line or a point. Also, please bear in mind that the name should be 'Blackhall Bridge Picnic Area' (note the capitalisation)

The tagging is fine, but according to both the GSGS3906 map (http://maps.openstreetmap.ie/?zoom=18&lat=52.91616&lon=-8.89138&layers=B00TFFFFFFFFFFFF) and http://www.aughty.org/pdf/townlands3_2.pdf, this is called 'Kilvilly Children's Burial Ground'. You may want to make sure you have added the correct name to it.

Hi Eoin,

You asked for this changeset to be reviewed when you uploaded it, so here's my review.

You've added a line with the tag man-made=yes. Unfortunately, this doesn't mean much on it's own. Assuming that this feature is basically a large curved billboard, you could add advertising=billboard to it (see advertising=billboard for more details)

Thanks for your contributions.

Hi Eoin,

You asked for this changeset to be reviewed when you uploaded it, so here's my review.

You've added a barrier=gate in the middle of the Swords Road. I assume that this is a gate on the service road, so you should put the barrier=gate tag on a node a little way up the service road, otherwise routers will interpret it as a gate across the Swords Road, preventing optimal routing.

Thanks for your contributions.

Hi Chirprita,

Thanks for your contributions! You've requested that this contribution be reviewed.

There are a couple of issues worth mentioning.

Firstly, it's customary to capitalise major words in an item's name. thus, "monasterevin playground" should be "Monasterevin Playground".

In addition, you've added an area as well as a point to represent the playground, resulting in the name being rendered twice on the map. In general, areas should be drawn in preference to points when drawing something like a park, where possible, and both shouldn't be used to represent the same object.

Finally, there is a special tag to represent a playground (leisure=playground), as opposed to a recreation ground (landuse=recreation_ground), which this is tagged as.

All of these issues are easily fixed. Keep up the good work!

It's a network relation. A super-relation for route masters. It's suggested in JOSM as an option, but I don't think it's an approved relation type on the wiki (osm.wiki/Relations/Proposed/Network), but it's used in several cities. I have one for Dublin Bus as well which was helping me keep track of bus routes (relation/7415800), though I've fallen behind in that a little.

Feel free to delete them if you think they're unsuitable. They are kind of close to being a relation-as-category.

Whoops. I misinterpreted the note. Thanks for noticing.
