Hi gscholz, thanks for reaching out. This residential polygon got selected and aligned accidentally while I was orthogonizing the building polygon, and the change went by unnoticed because I was working on a lower zoom level. I missed the validation error pointing out the self-intersecting lines. Glad that you reverted the changeset to avoid further problems. I will be cautious when uploading changesets in the future.

Hi Johnwhelan, I have verified the Maxar Premium Imagery and GPX traces (mentioned as sources by the previous mapper). Since the road is not meeting the standards as per the Africa highway tagging guideline (osm.wiki/Highway_Tag_Africa), I downgraded it to path to improve connectivity. Let me know if you have any suggestions.
