Wow... Thank you!

Yea, you're right. "whatever" is an expression of frustration because there are no written rules about the "name", how to do fairways, greens, etc. Everyone is an expert, but the experts contradict themselves. So us commoners receive contradictory instructions.
As for Google Earth, I copied nothing, nor employed anything from that app but what my eyes see and what openstreet has. No infringements. I did not do screen shoots of the various images. In fact, Google says, "Generally speaking, as long as you're following our Terms of Service and you're attributing properly, you can use our maps and imagery. In fact, we love seeing creative applications of Google Maps, Google Earth and Street View."
Thank you for your patient guidance and input. I'll keep in mind all you have taught me. :o)

I only use Google Earth because the details in the Bing imagery are so poor. The Google Earth also provides a variety of views due to seasonal changes to get more accurate location of traps, greens, fairways.
As for the name of the holes, I've seen a lot of courses on OpenStreet that use the "Hole 1" etc in the name tags. So whatever...

Sorry I have been so long responding. Super busy week. I appreciate your comments. 1. About the fairway around the green, it appears on Google Earth that the course has fairway that surrounds the fringe/green. I am not sure how to identify that other than what I did. What is your suggestion?
2. It is customary around the country to identify the "Golf hole line" as I did... It does show on the map nicely. Those who are using these edited maps for creating simulated golf courses appreciate that label. Do you have a reason for not labeling the holes?

Thank you for noticing! The fairways looked like they were mapped, but they were not. The roughs were mapped. When imported into my software, they were identified as roughs. I went back to openstreet and sure enough! There were no fairways identified. I was able to complete the other missing items and published a Lidar edition of the Canada course in The Golf Club 2019 program. It was not easy because the course is so spread out. My work is done, so if you really feel like the previous work was sufficient, it won't hurt my feelings. But again, the fairways were not properly identified as fairways.

The pond on the 7th hole on this imagery in late 2020 was being removed to form a creek that now shows in March 2021. When the next Bing imagery comes out it will show the new 7th and proper changes should be made then.
