Hi galen8183, I was unsure about the deletion of the layer tag that time so had submitted another changeset in May 2024 to undo my edits and restore the previous tags. Here is that changeset for your reference: changeset/150991177#map=19/43.477325/-80.533681. Thank you for making the corrections here. I will make sure to follow this convention on my future edits.

Hi Mxdanger. I have verified my edits, and noticed that indeed - relation got broken, despite the fact I used the partitioning tool ("P") by selecting a node in JOSM, split is done and ideally it shouldn't break any existing relations. I will be checking this while mapping in the future, and I have made the necessary corrections for this relation. I did a quick check on my other similar edits and observed no such issues.
