thanks, this is why I never bothered to try do it manually :)

I'm curious how long it took you to add all the refs?
I've also never heard of Level0, seems like it could be useful/

Heyy, streetside parking should be mapped slightly differently. Individual parking spaces are as parking space, and then there should be an area covering each section of them as a streetside parking. Have a look at what I corrected them to :3

There is a bug in the editor you used because this changeset added the wikidata tag for NCMA to the outer line of the multipolygon instead of the relation.

office=it suggests that it is digital technologies, which isn't very accurate. They research and develop technology for marine uses. I'm not sure of a more specific tag, there wasn't much on the wiki. See their website for additional context:

Most examples of detailed indoor mapping I looked at included barrier=wall, so I did so here. I checked the wiki, it seems you're right that it's implied - indoor=room has walls, indoor=area does not. So I agree with your decision to remove the tags :)

As you can see there is a fixme=type and fixme:type="marine technology". It's a commercial tech business which specialises in marine. It's not a shop.
Excuse me if that comment was automated.

Two Maproulette tasks have arisen from this with the cycleway areas on Atawhai Shared Path. Should those two areas be deleted? I doubt mapping them is valuable.

Oh I always forget to check that, thanks!

How long does it take you to micromap so many carparks? Or do you have a JOSM preset/plugin that makes it easier?

162722266 10 months ago

Your micromapping is beautiful, but comes at the wrong time: they've just been taking the park down. Apparently they're finding a new place for a pop-up park, but anyway this one is not accessible anymore. See: https://shape.nelson.govt.nz/riverside-youth-pop-park

True I sometimes get layer and level mixed up :)

Hi, I'm cool with tagging Bank Lane as a pedestrian street, but why should that be different from the other arcades/walkways, especially Nelson Central Arcade?
Also wondering why the layer=0 tag was removed from the businesses - it's a 3 to 4 story building so useful to explicitly state the shops are ground floor.

You updated Pole Artistry Studio, but that was last updated 9 years ago and the website says it's in Nelson City. I saw it there a few months ago and mapped it there, so probably delete it from Richmond

I miscounted; this is changeset # 4 of my Brightwater improvements

Thanks, I'm trying to map all the sidewalks in Nelson, following the OpenSidewalks schema. Did you survey to update these or not? Because I know some of my notes are for crossings I couldn't see from aerial imagery and I'll be going out sometime in the next couple days to survey the rest.
If you want to learn more about the OpenSidewalks thing to make sure the tagging is consistent, see https://osmnelson.glitch.me/opensidewalks where I'm beginning to list all the resources I've found about it. The main thing is putting a node for where the kerb is, and having a 'link' walkway connecting that to the sidewalk.

Every Door wouldn't let me add this as a tag to the changeset:
