In that case, please do revert the changeset. The main purpose of the edit was to link it to Wikidata, which I can easily redo - the multipolygon was already there beforehands.

That multipolygon had gaps where the airport gates would appear as islands due to the connecting roof areas not being included, so I wanted to connect it all up in the same edit since one of Wikimedia's tools that renders maps uses the OSM relation to draw an outline (oversimplified by a bit - see here if you're interested: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Extension:Kartographer/OSM#How_to_get_a_single_object_from_multiple_lines).

It's an entirely non-consequential issue - I mainly wanted the outline to not have gaps for the airport gateways. If you look on Wikimedia Commons right now, it should still show the outline (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Perth_Airport_Terminal_1_-_International). There won't really be a noticeable change there when reverting this edit :)

What would be the best way to fix this? Should I merge the geometry? My edit didn't change any of the physical data - only the relation, so I'm hesitant about editing the geometry.
