Hi dknelson9876,
My name is Suraj, and I'm a mapper on the OSM team at Lyft. Thank you for your comment.I do have access to post-construction imagery and have updated the lane changes and placement tagging in this changeset(changeset/183625015#map=14/40.61974/-112.03721&layers=P)
I appreciate your feedback and acknowledge that I should have verified these details more carefully before making the edit. I regret the oversight and will be more attentive in future edits
Hi ChaireMobiliteKaligrafy,
My name is Suraj, and I’m a mapper on the OSM team at Lyft. Thanks a lot for reaching out.
Regarding the changes I made: I modified the geometry because there was signage indicating an “only right turn” based on Lyft-owned street level imagery, (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1akyuVOZBERhGZBatqll7wgv4I_dkfo_H/view?usp=sharing) from 13th May, 2026. Instead of adding two separate “only right” restrictions on way(way/1378889301) & way(way/1519562024), I merged them after modifying the geometry. However, I understand that dual carriageways generally should not be merged in this way, and I acknowledge that this was an oversight on my part. I sincerely apologize for that.
At present, the signage indicates “only right,” while you added “no left turn” restrictions on both ways. Functionally, both approaches achieve the same routing behavior.
Happy Mapping!
Regards,
Suraj
