The plans were the proposed plans for the new building that showed it as David Street. I agree though that OS Open Roads doesn't show it.

It would, yes. Building plans for One Temple Way and the Print Hall show the service road as being named David Street. Whether this was a mistake or not or they simply carried the name over because I agree that it is only a service road that follows the historic route, but the archives suggest it is named.

Bristol Archives and building plans. I think only the Southern one is David Street, not the Northern one - i'll change that.

What data source are you referring to?

Yes. The Service Road for parking are still David Street, just not a proper road.
