Have crated a note and requested this building is checked

I seem to remember this place looked long term shut, possibly a note on the window. A few websites say the place is still open however in that location. Not sure what the story is to be honest.

Thanks for the note. I've fixed to Keswick Camping and Caravan Club Shop

If it's the one outside booths I've moved it. Got confused between the road and the pavement bit. It sells maps.

The poi is behind Furness building society. Checked the lane with white hart on it and it's a blank wall. Checked the lane with peppys on it and only doorway I could see was very unkept. Didn't look like it had been opened in some time. Possible the poi is in the wrong place? Unfortunately I can't recheck.

Yup joules has expended. The way I walked I didn't spot the bit round the corner. Did wonder about the odd shaped shop on my next lap.

I couldn't find anything mentioning "The old laundry". Building seemed to be entirely Beatrix potter branded. All looked new so presumed it had recently expanded. Walked right round the area.

Will take a looks at joules later

Cheers :-)

Thanks for the reminder. Been a while since I mapped buildings. Will go back through and realign.

I'd used the shop type of "machinery" based on an already mapped shop nearby that sells farm equipment.

I've now updated this one to be a "agrarian" shop as per the wiki

Thank you for the info. I've reverted my changeset and also update the phone box as advised

Phone removed as per this note - note/4554949

Is a phonebox without a phone still a phonebox?

This update was made through the EverDoor mobile phone app so I'm not entirely sure what it's done.

I've updated the POI to be a Burger Fast Food through iD

The Loft is a coffee shop. The Little Loft Shop is a takeaway shop

Thanks for letting me know. I have fixed. Absolutely no idea how that happened

Thanks for the tip. My understanding was the shop building was to be marked as vacant rather than the "Point of Interest". In this case the shop wasn't actually marked so I couldn't mark as vacant.

So going forward I should mark the "point of Interest" as vacant?

Thanks for the tip on OSMUK cadastral parcels. It looks like Bing is almost not to the same scale. Align to one place, move a few hundred meters, and it's offset again. I switched to using the Esri World Imagery. I've spot checked other parts of the OSM map in the same area and they're all offset.

The general area was already misaligned badly. The school (Donibristle Primary School) is on one alignment, some of the existing houses on another, further north there's at least 2 other alignments. I changed the alignment (as I always do) to match the majority of the surrounding area. Here it was incredibly difficult as very little lined up.
