Changeset When Comment

Hi, I'm looking at this changeset because it was marked for review. It looks to me like the shop=farm tag is correct in this case, judging from aerial photography. It seems rather unlikely that this site would be described as a "convenience store" but I haven't laid eyes on it in person. :)

The only thing I would suggest is possibly adding a "produce" tag to mark what kind of products are sold here, if it's feasible to do so: produce=*

Thanks for contributing, and happy mapping!

Hi, and welcome to contributing to OSM! I looked over this changeset because it was marked for review.

It looks like you added an area around the existing Fire House KC building to include their parking lot. If this is correct, I would consider mapping the parking area as a separate polygon with the appropriate access tags to indicate that it's for Fire House KC customers.

You could also add a site relation to group the parking lot and the building as described in the "Relation:site" wiki article: osm.wiki/Relation:site In either case, I would avoid naming both the area and the building Fire House KC, because it's unlikely that both the building and the area around it are named that way, IMO.

Incidentally, I spent a year or two living in KC and I'm always happy to see people contributing to the map in the area. Happy mapping!

Hey, welcome to contributing to OSM, TMHarper! I'm looking at this changeset because it was marked for review. It mostly looks good to me, but you included a note indicating that 1117 North 27th Street actually has two addresses now: 1117 and 1119. The building outline is still tagged as 1117 so 1119 doesn't appear on the map.

The usual way to deal with this is to remove the address tag from the way that is the building outline and instead add two nodes that are inside the outline or part of the outline where the entrances are, and tag them with the appropriate address tags. Hopefully this link works: https://help.openstreetmap.org/questions/69302/multiple-addresses-for-same-object

Anyway, welcome again! Feel free to reach out to me and I hope you enjoy lots of happy mapping in the future!
