You're correct, I've reverted those changes.

I'm confused...

Depending which layer you look at on the definitive map it's either all Station Lane or the Hydestile End is Station Road, though it's not clear when Station Lane becomes Station Road as you move East to West. There are 2 properties on the part that may be Station Road and both have their addresses listed as Station Lane.

I'll cycle up there later today and see if there's any signage.
