Thanks for the info. Interesting sign. Not sure why the name was changed.

I added it 5 years ago, you even edited it and didn’t change it then.

I’m asking about who changed the name. I’ll let you know.

After consulting Trailforks I stand corrected.

Hi Eerib

There are now two people with local knowledge saying this trail is damaged. But OSM doesn’t seem to care about trail quality. Just quantity.

So continue with your inaccuracy if you feel so strongly. It just undermines OSMs data.

When did you hike it to refute this?

Will do.

Thanks. Too bad this trail wasn’t removed earlier so this could have been prevented.

To be clear, Whistler Bike Park adds its tracks to the trailforks data base, so the Trailforks tracks are Whistler/Blackcombs.

Whistler bike park uses Trailforks for navigation. In order to be accurate and consistent it’s the best way.

Please let NSR know that you insist on keeping this dangerous access public.

Unfortunately no. You would have to delete and renter.

The lower trail peer gynt is also wrong but that’s ok. It was built by mountain bikers and called MSG. When DNV signed it they named it per gynt… but most people don’t go to Fromme peak that way. Call bills gynt could be confusing.

You didn’t name it?

Hi

The trail from mt hwy to the top of Fromme is Bills Trail. As per the sign at the trail head. Calling it per gynt will lead to confusion.

Only the section above the 7th switchback and where it exits is per gynt
