Hi, yes go ahead. If we are able to re-import this data then I would like to do so with some info I had missed (mainly apartment/unit numbers) when converting the CSV so it would be best to start fresh anyway. Also, I intend to write a program that will compare positions with existing data before importing to avoid such duplicates.

Hi, apologies as I was unaware of these policies - I was under the impression that the data simply wasn't there because it hadn't been put there yet.

So far, the best information I have found regarding the data is the description provided at https://uclg.maps.arcgis.com/apps/Viewer/index.html?appid=b563b852d0a641d19c81a619fa404847

This states that the data sets are made available as a public resource. There does not appear to be any licensing information available, perhaps you would like me to contact UCLG and find out more this way?

Hi,

This data is from OpenAddresses.io, a service that compiles various other sources (usually ArcGIS and government provided data sources) into a common CSV format.

I took the CSV and converted it into XML compatible with JOSM and from there imported it out of need for my home town and surrounding areas to have correct house numbers.

I think you will find the data to have very accurate, locations for the house number, exactly where the buildings they are assigned to are located.
