Thank you for the feedback. This "trail" is a chained off trail, which is only for pedestrian and bicycle use. It is really no different than the Larkin State Bridle Trail, which is in the bottom of the box drawn around the this feature. My reason for the tagging as "Trail" rather than "Unmaintained Track Road" is due to how sites which use the OSM data (such as Strava) displaying things like this trail as a road. So, those planning road cycling courses would currently see this as a road in Strava, rather than as a trail, as the Larkin Trail is shown.
