| 171986408 | 4 months ago | Hi Aleksander, I was using the province boundaries of Qurayyat from the Muscat GIS map layer and the ArcGIS boundaries layer that contained the other governorates provinces boundaries. The problem is the Dama wa at Ta'ieen Province overlapped the Qurayyat Province. I merged them by deleting the Dama wa at Ta'ieen overlapping parts which resulted in it having an oddly shaped exclave with Wadi bani Khalid Province. I'm not sure if what I did was the best solution so please let me know if there's a better solution to this. |
| 166500178 | 9 months ago | Hello, I've tried my best to interpret information from the wiki for highway tags. From what I've understood trunk roads are used for high-important or high-performance highways and A13 connects the biggest city in the governorate of Musandam, Khasab, to the UAE, Ras al Khaimah, while also passing by Bukha which is one of the four provinces in Musandam and passing many villages such as Harf & Qada. All of these factors led me to believe that the highway is high-important as it's the most important highway in the governorate (until the new Dibba - Lima - Khasab highway is finished). If I am misunderstanding the meaning of trunk roads, please let me know. |
| 165507039 | 10 months ago | Hello, I see you edited the ref from 1 into N5, may I ask what source did you use for this? I use the Oman atlas map as a source (https://ict.moe.gov.om/publication/PDF/Atlas_OmanMap/files/downloads/Atlas_OmanMap.pdf) and it states that the route number for this highway is 1. Thank you,
