I agree. People are too ready to delete things based on aerial photographs without regard for the original editor who went to the place, and added a feature because he saw it.

When I hiked the KPRT last year, the trail only ran from North Street out to the point. It looks like you extended it. Has the trail been lengthened?

It didn't look like a public road on the bing aerials (which it had been marked as). I looked on Google Street View, and saw a gate and "no trespassing" signs.

I looked at the node. Yes, "bowling alley lots" don't end up with the tag very close to the house. However, 1) if you search for the housenumber and street, it will get you close enough to the house to be able to find it by looking at mailbox numbers, and 2) I'm pretty much the only person mapping anywhere north of the Adirondack Park, so 3) if you're willing to help clean up the data by driving around, great! If not, then I've made the judgement that having the data in my area is better than having no data at all.

They are centroids of parcels. When parcels are not convex, they end up about in the middle of the parcel. When parcels are nice and square and small, they end up exactly in the center, which is typically where the house is.

The data was hand-checked in the field, and is "very good".

Serge, Amtrak says that it's a high speed route, so ... it IS a high speed route. If you know how Amtrak signs the NEC speeds, you should tell the rest of us, because I don't know.

Peanut Line trail parking? But the railbed isn't marked as a trail. To the west, the bridge over Mud Creek is out. To the east, the railbed goes across airport property.

Oh, and to help you understand these changesets marked "railroad crossings", I am going through a list of NY crossings that I downloaded from the FRA website, one by one. There are 12K crossings and I'm on crossing 9000. Many of them are disused private crossings, which I am ignoring.

That's why the bridge is marked "abandoned", not "dismantled". The bridge has been removed, but if you go there, you'll see that the abutments are still in place.

Why do you say this is missing? It looks present on Bing, Bing birds-eye, and Google. The geometry of this way alone suggests that it shouldn't be missing.
