It seems like the bus no longer goes down Paul Bryant Drive westbound from University to downtown, Tuscaloosa Transit Authority has been making lots of changes to the bus routes lately (most notably the Alberta/5 Points route replacing the Holt route). Also it seems better to map the bus routes on JOSM (iD can't handle it that well)

Thanks for extending Kinterbish Creek to the Tombigbee River! When I mapped the initial portion in Sumter County the USGS 3D elevation imagery in Choctaw County was very bad but now it seems like its better now! We do have a little group chat in Discord where we coordinate things like the landuse I'm adding to the north of these changesets if you're interested in joining

FYI, there is a tasking manager job for importing these buildings at https://tasks.openstreetmap.us/projects/228 . I bumped this job up to urgent status due to Ian's landfall.

The majority of it doesn't look like a wetland (couldn't see much water under the trees like in other wetland areas). When the landcovering gets over here the area shall get addressed again to check for waterlogged forests.

The comment above was made by a sockpuppet whose only purpose is to harass other users with unnecessary changeset comments as documented in osm.wiki/User:ZeLonewolf/Sockpuppets and https://resultmaps.neis-one.org/osm-discussion-comments?uid=15298403&commented . For everyone else interested in this project, everything in osmus-tasks-248 and all future project phases like this utilize a combination of aerial imagery and USGS topo and 3D maps (not all streams are easily visible off the aerials but clearly visible in the 3D/topo maps)

As pointed out in changeset comments on changeset/118549199, this is NOT a "tag correction", and this change will be reverted. Please stop removing building=* tags from legitimate buildings.

Same person did the same thing to a new hotel in my town, which has since then been reverted.

Multipolygons have been repaired and fixed by me in changesets 118303238 and 118302822. Let me know if anything else needs fixing.

If you want to yeah, the tag for that is footway=sidewalk in addition to existing highway=footway. It should also be a preset in the iD editor.

113446241 about 4 years ago

Yes, it has been that way for a decade.

That is correct, though other areas have the nature reserve tag also attached (for example see a few state parks in FL). for Red Mountain the park is owned by a nonprofit and not by the state. For state parks it should be like this relation/9517835#map=15/34.7274/-86.5057 , that park in Huntsville has a national park boundary with an additional tag declaring it a state park (protection_title=State Park)

Welcome to OpenStreetMap! When adding in rectangular structures, please use the Square tool (right click polygon and square icon, or the "Q" key shortcut). Thanks and happy mapping!
